Big news out of Houston: Slaton out?
Breaking news from the Houston Chronicle suggests that Steve Slaton will likely be held out of Sunday's game against the Jags due to numbness in his arm resulting from a shoulder injury.
That means a big upgrade for Chris Brown (pictured), who's been splitting carries with Slaton over the past couple of weeks. I suppose Ryan Moats will get some additional action as well, but the real beneficiary should be Brown.
If you need RB help this week -- especially if you were planning to roll with Slaton -- Brown's a decent start. The Jags are playing the run well, however; so don't expect a huge day. But 100 total yards and a TD are not out of the question.

Ladd,
ReplyDeleteCan you recommend who to start in a WR/RB Flex position (PPR league)
Meachum, Housh, or Pick up Julius or Chris Brown. I'd have to drop Dallas Def or Finley (I have NY Jets and Celek).
In a 2nd league I would appreciate your advice on which 2 RB's and 2 WR's to start? I have Gore, Pierre T, Lesean McKoy, Cedric, & Knowshon. My WR's are Colston, Fitzgerald, Ocho, and Miles.
ReplyDeleteLadd,
ReplyDeletePackers DEF at home or the Cowboys against a gimpy Manning?
Thanks. Steve in Plano
craig,
ReplyDeleteI'd drop dallas and grab Chris Brown, and play him. THough I like Meachem and Housh, I'd rather have a starting RB as my flex
craig,
ReplyDeleteI like all your RBs this week, so I don't think you can go wrong with any. But I'd choose Cedric and Gore.
Plus Fitz and Ocho.
Steve,
ReplyDeleteGo with the Pack
