Week 5 Starters & Benchwarmers


This was a great week to start…

QBs
Peyton Manning, Colts – Did it again, with 414 yards and 4 TDs through the air, plus a rushing TD.  Also had his first INT of the season.
Tony Romo, Cowboys – Out-produced Manning everywhere but the scoreboard, with 506 yards passing and 5 TDs, plus a costly INT.

RBs
Fred Jackson, Bills – Rushed for 53 yards and 2 TDs and added 4 receptions for 40 yards.
Pierre Thomas, Saints – Had a statement game with 36 rushing yards and 9 catches for 55 yards and 2 TDs.
Ray Rice, Ravens – Scored twice will running for 74 yards, and added 6 catches for 28 yards, though he lost a fumble.
Knowshon Moreno, Broncos – Ran for 93 yards and a TD and catch 5 passes for 57 yards.
Jacquizz Rodgers, Falcons – Ran for 43 yards and 2 TDs and 4 receptions for 15 more.

WRs
T.Y. Hilton, Colts – His 5 receptions turned into 140 yards and 2 TDs.
Dez Bryant, Cowboys – Pulled down 6 passes for 141 yards and 2 TDs, but he lost a fumble.
Alshon Jeffery, Bears – Hauled in 10 receptions for 218 yards and a TD.
Reuben Randle, Giants – Caught 2 passes for 96 yards and 2 TDs.

TEs
Julius Thomas, Broncos – Torched the Cowboys with 9 receptions for 122 yards and 2 TDs.

DSTs
49ers – Accumulated 5 turnovers, a sack, a defensive TD and held the Texans to 3 points.

This was a great week to play against…

QBs
Tom Brady, Patriots – Only 197 passing yards, an INT and zero TDs for the first time in 53 games.
Matt Schaub, Texans – Benched after his 3rd INT and 173 passing yards.
Andy Dalton, Bengals – Just 212 yards passing, no TDs, an INT and 25 rushing yards.
Joe Flacco, Ravens – Passed for 269 yards, but no TDs and 1 INT.
Cam Newton, Panthers – Put up 308 yards, but had no TDs, 3 INTs and a fumble.

RBs
Lamar Miller, Dolphins – Held to 15 stinking yards.
Ryan Mathews, Chargers – Ran just 8 yards before leaving with a concussion.
Bilal Powell, Jets – Ran for just 38 yards and caught an 8-yard pass on Monday night.
Trent Richardson, Colts – Only 56 rushing yards on the day, without a reception.
Rashad Jennings, Jaguars – Just 41 rushing yards before a hamstring injury knocked him out.

WRs
Stevie Johnson, Bills – Left injured after catching only 2 passes for 19 yards.
Sidney Rice, Seahawks – Caught an 8-yarder.
Marques Colston, Saints  -- Just 2 receptions for 15 yards.
Anquan Boldin, 49ers – Held to 21 yards on only 2 catches.
DeAndre Hopkins, Texans – Only 23 yards on 2 receptions.
Eddie Royal, Chargers – Can we officially call him a flash in the pan after his 3 receptions for 26 yards.
Nate Washington, Titans – Turned 3 passes into 30 yards.
Julian Edelman, Patriots – Limited to 35 yards and 2 catches.
Dwayne Bowe, Chiefs – He got his 35 yards on 4 catches.
Andre Johnson, Texans – His 3 catches netted just 39 yards.
Kenbrell Thompkins, Patriots – With Amendola back, and Brady struggling, held to 16 yards and 3 balls.
Larry Fitzgerald, Cardinals – Only 43 yards on 3 connections.
Victor Cruz, Eagles – Only 48 yards on 5 passes.

TEs
Jordon Cameron, Browns – Just 3 catches for 36 yards.

  1. Which qb would u trade to get Julius Thomas...luck or romo...he is dying for a qb and I am in a bind at tight end...which one should I offer
