Week 6 Heroes & Zeros


This was a great week to start…

QBs
Andy Dalton, Bengals – Passed for 337 yards and 3 TDs with an INT, plus 17 rushing yards.
Nick Foles, Eagles – Let the controversy begin, as Foles passes for 296 yards and 3 TDs, and runs for another score.
Matt Stafford, Lions – Accumulated 248 yards, 4 TDs and an INT against the Browns.
Cam Newton, Panthers – Just 242 passing yards, but had 3 TDs plus 30 rushing yards and another TD, with no turnovers.

RBs
Brandon Jacobs, Giants – Rumbled for 106 yards and 2 TDs on Thursday night.
Jamaal Charles, Chiefs – Notched 2 TDs on 78 yards rushing plus 5 receptions for 50 yards.
Knowshon Moreno, Broncos – Stole the limelight from Peyton with 42 rushing yards and 3 TDs, plus 7 receptions for 62 more.
Marshawn Lynch, Seahawks – Scored twice while rushing for 77 yards and leading the team with 4 catches for 78 yards.
Stevan Ridley, Patriots – What’s this?  96 rushing yards and 2 TDs, and a 14-yard reception?  So…he’s back?

WRs
Vincent Jackson, Bucs – Worked well with his rookie QB, catching 9 passes for 114 yards and 2 TDs.
Brandon Marshall, Bears – Scored twice while hauling in 9 passes for 87 yards.
DeSean Jackson, Eagles – Brought down 6 passes for 64 yards and 2 TDs.
Justin Blackmon, Jaguars – In PPR leagues, his 14 receptions for 190 yards were the bomb.

TEs
Vernon Davis, 49ers – Torched the Cards with 8 receptions for 180 yards and 2 TDs.
Joseph Fauria, Lions – Congrats if you even own Fauria and his 3 receptions for 34 yards and 3 TDs.

DSTs
Rams – Compiled 5 sacks, 2 INTs, 2 fumble recoveries and 2 TDs against the Texans.
Chiefs – Accumulated 10 sacks, 3 INTs and an interception TD while holding the Raiders to 7 points.

This was a great week to play against…

QBs
Matt Schaub, Texans – No pick-sixes, but no TDs either, and just 186 yards before leaving injured.
Alex Smith, Chiefs – Passed for 128 yards without a TD or turnover, plus 29 rushing yards.
Andrew Luck, Colts – Had a good matchup on paper, but only tallied 202 passing yards, no TDs and an INT, plus 19 rushing yards.

RBs
Ray Rice, Ravens – Ran for 34 yards and caught 3 passes for 15 yards.
Willis McGahee, Browns – Just 37 yards on the ground to go with a 2-yard catch.

WRs
Cecil Shorts, Jaguars – Knocked out before he could contribute at all.
Danny Amendola, Patriots – Somehow came away with 0 yards on 2 receptions.
James Jones, Packers – Just a 10-yard catch before leaving with a leg injury.
Marques Colston, Saints – Held to an 11-yarder.
Torrey Smith, Ravens – Limited to a 12-yard reception. 
Nate Washington, Titans – Continues to struggle with Fitzpatrick, catching only a 15-yard pass.
Jeremy Kerley, Jets – Pulled down 2 passes for 19 yards.
Alshon Jeffery, Bears – Caught one 27-yarder.
Calvin Johnson, Lions – He was active, but barely, with 3 catches for 25 yards.
Rams WRs – Givens had 20 yards, Pettis had 12 and Tavon Austin brought up the rear with a 3-yard catch.
Anquan Boldin, 49ers – Only 28 yards on 3 receptions.
Sidney Rice, Seahawks – Just 35 yards on 2 balls, and a lost fumble.

TEs
Jimmy Graham, Saints – Incredibly, held without a catch.
Brandon Myers, Giants – Blanked on Thursday night.
Garrett Graham, Texans – Just 25 yards on 2 receptions.
