QBs
Deshaun Watson, Texans – Served notice that he’s for real,
with 283 passing yards and 4 TDs, plus 24 rushing yards and a 5th
TD. We’ll forgive the INT.
Cam Newton, Panthers – So he’s not done yet, apparently,
after torching the toothless Patriots defense for 316 passing yards and 3 TDs,
plus an INT, with 44 rushing yards and a 4th TD.
Andy Dalton, Bengals – Getting his mojo back with 286
passing yards and 4 TDs, plus 29 rushing yards and a fumble.
Aaron Rodgers, Packers – Passed for just 179 yards, but had
4 TDs, without a blemish.
Eli Manning, Giants – He lost again, but his
288-passing-yard, 22-rushing-yard, 3-TD outing without a turnover wasn’t half
bad.
Jameis Winston, Bucs – Passed for 332 yards and 3 TDs,
without a turnover.
Todd Gurley, Rams – Raced by the Cowboys with 121 rushing yards,
and added 7 catches for 94 yards and a TD.
Le’Veon Bell, Steelers – Played up to his draft status with
144 rushing yards and 2 TDs, complemented by 4 receptions for 42 yards.
Lamar Miller, Texans – Rushed for 75 yards, caught 4 passes
for 56 yards and scored both ways.
Zeke Elliott, Cowboys – Ran for 85 yards and a TD and caught
4 passes for 54 yards and a TD.
Bilal Powell, Jets – Rumbled for 163 yards and 1 TD, and
added 27 yards on 4 receptions.
Leonard Fournette, Jaguars – Rushed for 86 yards and caught
4 passes for 59 yards and a TD.
WRs
Jordy Nelson, Packers – Turned 4 receptions into 75 yards
and 2 TDs.
Devin Funchess, Panthers – Collected 7 passes for 70 yards
and 2 TDs.
DeAndre Hopkins, Texans – His 10 catches for 107 yards and a
TD were sweet for PPR leaguers.
Tyrell Williams, Chargers – Caught 5 passes for 115 yards
and a TD.
TEs
Tyler Kroft, Bengals – Not Eifert, but his 6 catches for 68
yards and 2 TDs were impressive nevertheless.
Travis Kelce, Chiefs – Caught 7 passes for 111 yards and a
TD.
Ks
Greg Zuerlein, Rams – Nailed all 7 of his FG attempts, from
28, 30, 33, 43, 44, 44 and 49 yards, plus 2 XPs.
D/STs
Texans – Collected 4 INTs, a fumble, 2 sacks and a TD on an
interception return.
This was a great week to play against…
QBs
Matt Stafford, Lions – Just 209 passing yards without a TD.
Matt Ryan, Falcons – Passed for 242 yards and a TD, but his
2 INTs and 1 fumble negated the good stuff.
Jay Cutler, Dolphins – Continued to stink it up against poor
secondaries, passing for ony 164 yards without a score, plus an INT.
RBs
Derrick Henry, Titans – Grounded with just 7 rushing yards.
Theo Riddick, Lions – Combined for 12 yards on the day.
Chris Thompson, Redskins – Totaled 27 yards but ruined them
by fumbling.
Marshawn Lynch, Raiders – Continued his Least Mode ways with
just 12 rushing yards.
Isaiah Crowell, Browns – Totaled 27 yards against the
Bengals.
Ty Montgomery, Packers – Just 28 yards before getting
injured.
Melvin Gordon, Chargers – Ran for only 22 yards and caught a
7-yard pass.
DeMarco Murray, Titans – He totaled just 35 yards rushing
and receiving.
WRs
Taylor Gabriel, Falcons – Shut out, despite playing without
Julio and Mohamed Sanu (who caught a 3 yarder) for much of the game.
Jamison Crowder, Redskins – He actually lost 7 yards on his
only touch.
Amari Cooper, Raiders – Held to 9 yards on 2 catches. He’s
not an elite receiver any more.
Demaryius Thomas, Broncos – Finished with an 11 yarder.
Sammy Watkins, Rams – Left Dallas with a 17 yarder. His
teammate, Robert Woods, got 17 yards on 2 catches.
Marqise Lee, Jaguars – Only 18 yards on 2 catches.
Jermaine Kearse, Jets – The bloom is off this rose with 17
yards on 4 receptions.
DeSean Jackson, Bucs – Just 20 yards on a pair of catches.
Travis Benjamin, Chargers – Caught 2 passes for 21 yards.
Emmanuel Sanders, Broncos – Held to 27 yards on 4
receptions.
T.Y. Hilton, Colts – Handled 3 passes for 30 yards.
Brandin Cooks, Patriots – Back to being a wallflower, with 3
receptions for 38 yards.
Golden Tate, Lions – Just 29 yards on 3 receptions.
Doug Baldwin, Seahawks – Only 35 yards on 3 catches.
Jeremy Maclin, Ravens – Continues to disappoint, with 21
yards on 3 catches.
Julio Jones, Falcons – Caught 3 passes for 30 yards before
leaving with an injury.
TEs
Jason Witten, Cowboys – Caught a 9-yard toss near the end of
the game.
Coby Fleener, Saints – Just 21 yards on 2 catches.
Jordan Reed, Redskins – He took 3 catches to get to 21
yards on Monday night.
